SCBA election begins

The two-day election to Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) for its 14 executive posts, including president and secretary, began yesterday.

The polling started at 10:00am and continued till 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break in the SCBA building. It will resume at 10:00am today.

Some 1,802 lawyers out of a total 4,362 lawyers cast their votes on the first day. The results are likely to be announced tonight.
