Rohingya man dies at CMCH

A bullet-hit Rohingya man, who was undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), succumbed to his injuries in the hospital early yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Kamal Hossain, 24, of Maungdaw in Akiyab of Myanmar, said police.

Kamal was admitted to the hospital on October 17 and was undergoing treatment at ward no-17, said Assistant Sub-Inspector Amanul Haque of CMCH Police Camp.

He succumbed to his injuries around 1:00am.

His body was sent to CMCH morgue for an autopsy.
