Robbers loot valuables from CU student's room near campus

Armed robbers looted valuables from the rented room of a Chittagong University student in a cottage adjacent to the university campus early yesterday.

Five masked robbers with sharp weapons knocked at the door of Soumen Chakma's room in the cottage named Muktijoddha and forcibly entered inside around 12:30am, said the victim, a third-year student of economics.

The criminals threatened to slit Soumen's throat and looted his money, two mobile phone sets and other valuables, he added.
