Road crashes kill 3

Two people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between two trucks on Dhaka-Tangail highway at Kadim Dhalla in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail yesterday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

In Dinajpur, Samiul Islam, 12, son of Sabedul Islam of Dowapur village was killed when a truck ran him over after it hit his bicycle on Dinajpur-Phulbari highway in Sindura village of Chirirbandar upazila on Sunday evening.

Locals caught the truck driver Shafiqul Islam, 40, and gave him a mob beating.
