Road crashes kill 2, injure 2

Two persons were killed and two others injured in road accidents in two districts during the last two days.

Our staff correspondent from Chittagong reports, a CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver died as his vehicle hit a roadside tree after he lost control over it in Ranirhat area of Rangunia upazila early yesterday, said police.

The deceased is Sekandar, 35, son of Din Mohammed from Tandachori area of the upazila.

Our Dinajpur correspondent adds, motorcyclist Mozaharul Islam, 28, was killed and his two co-riders were injured after the bike hit a truck parked on Dinajpur-Biral road in Makarpukur village of Biral upazila on Friday evening.

Locals took the injured -- Moshiur Rahman, 30, and Golam Mostafa, 28 -- to Biral Upazila Health Complex.
