Rangpur road crash kills 3, injures 20

Three people were killed and 20 others injured as a bus carrying them fell into a ditch beside Rangpur-Kurigram highway after hitting a chariot from the opposite direction at Jummapara in Kawnia upazila of Rangpur last night.
The identities of the dead could not be ascertained immediately. The injured were taken to different local hospitals.
A horse was also killed in the accident which occurred around 10:20pm, Kawnia police Officer-in-Charge Rezaul Karim told The Daily Star.
