Rangpur bank staff found dead

A bank staff was found dead in an irrigation pump house in Rangpur city yesterday.

Police detained four persons, including his wife Azeda Begum and father-in-law, for interrogation.

Alal Hossain, 40, of Dangirpar in Rangpur City Corporation, a peon in Agrani Bank Ltd, Central Road branch in Rangpur city, was first suffocated to death and then hanged from a rafter of the ceiling, said police.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body and sent it to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
