Rajshahi University student drowns in a pond

A student of Rajshahi University (RU) drowned in a pond inside Rajshahi Teachers Training (TTC) College in Rajshahi city this evening.

Hossain Md Fahim, 21, was first year student of RU’s English department, our Rajshahi correspondent reports quoting Md Amanullah, officer-of-charge (OC) of Rajpara Police Station.

Divers of Rajshahi Fire Service and Civil Defence recovered his body from the pond, the OC said.
