Morning drizzle in Dhaka

Dhaka city along with many other places of Bangladesh experienced drizzles all throughout this morning, caused by an active monsoon season.

Bangladesh Meteorological Department says the monsoon axis runs through central part of the country and that it is likely to influence more rain.

Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Bangladesh, a weather bulletin says.

An official at the Met office has told The Daily Star that 24mm rain was recorded in the last 24 hours commencing from 6:00am yesterday.
