Public admin ministry official held in Dhaka

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today arrested a deputy secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration from Dhaka’s Moghbazar area for allegedly accumulating wealth illegally.

The arrestee is Dr Mohammed Amin, said Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, public relations officer of the ACC.

An ACC team arrested Amin from his residence in Moghbazar area this morning.

Amin earned Tk 48.67 lakh beyond known sources of his income, Pranab said.
