Prof Haroon passes away

Prof  Abdullah-Al-Haroon, a life time founding member of Bangladesh ENT Society, passed away at a hospital in the capital on January 26. He was 76.

Prof Haroon, also the founding director of Novodoy Housing Society, Mohammadpur, was buried at Shahid Buddhijibi Graveyard in Rayer Bazar on January 27, said a press release.

During his long career, he served at Chittagong Medical College, Dhaka Medical College, Sir Salimullah Medical College, BSMMU and United Hospital, the release added.

He left behind his wife, one son and two daughters to mourn his death.
