Prof Fyzennessa's anniversary of death today

Today is the 13th death anniversary of Prof Noorunnahar Fyzennessa of Institute of Education and Research at Dhaka University and former provost of Rokeya Hall.

On the occasion, a doa mahfil will be held at Dr Noorun Nahar Fyzennesa Preprimary School in Dhamrai, says a press release.

Fyzennessa was the first woman member of DU syndicate, first woman member of Pay Commission; and president of Dhaka city Mahila Parishad.

She was also a Fulbright scholar and a faculty member of London University.
