Kamal Bepari, a cattle trader at Gabtoli, told this correspondent that he sold four cattle today at Tk 25,000 loss in total.

He restrained from selling any yesterday hoping that prices will go up further today at the largest and permanent cattle market of the capital, but it did not.

He still has two more cattle to sell and he is not happy about the prices he has to comply with.

Prices of cattle got down as there are fewer buyers in the market today, Kamal said.
