President to lead Bangladesh team at first ever OIC tech summit

President Abdul Hamid will lead Bangladesh delegation at “The First Summit of the OIC on Science and Technology” to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan on September 10-11.

The delegation includes the officials from the Office of the President, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Science and Technology. It would be the first ever summit of OIC in the area of science and technology.

The summit is expected to discuss and adopt OIC Ten Year Action Plan on Science and Technology -- “OIC STI Agenda 2026,”said a foreign ministry press release yesterday.
