Policeman killed in Narayanganj road crash

A policeman was killed in a road accident at Kamtal on Dhaka-Chittagong highway early today.

The deceased was identified as Korshed, a constable and driver of a police patrol team vehicle.

Police said a Chittagong-bound vehicle, knocked Khorshed down around 2:00am while he was crossing the highway, leaving him injured critically.

He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
