‘Poacher' held with deer hide in Khulna

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested an alleged poacher along with a deer hide in Laudor area in Dakope upazila of Khulna district early yesterday.

Lt M H I Siddique, operational officer of Coast Guard Mongla West Zone, said on information, a coast guard team conducted a drive in the area in the early morning and arrested Imam Hossain, 23, son of Oliur Rahman, a resident in the area, along with the deer hide.

However, other members of the gang managed to flee.
