A Dhaka court today extended the deadline for submitting the probe report of the case filed over the emergency landing of an aircraft carrying Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on November 27 last year.

Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Syed passed the order after DMP’s Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit failed to submit any report today. The court fixed March 19 for submitting the report.

Earlier on January 12, the court asked the CTTC unit to submit the probe report on February 19 after Mahbub Alom, an inspector of CTTC unit and investigation officer (IO) of the case, failed to submit any report.
