PDB worker dies falling from electric pole in Ctg

A worker of the Power Development Board (PDB) died after falling from the electric pole in Chandgaon Faridapara area of Chittagong city yesterday.

The deceased was Abdul Mannan, 45, of Sonaimuri in Noakhali. He was a lineman of PDB in Chittagong.

Mannan got critically injured after falling from the electric pole while he was working in the area, said Nayek Gorilal Chakma of CMCH police camp.

He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later.
