One jailed for selling spirit illegally

A mobile court yesterday fined two hardware store owners Tk 20,000 and sentenced one of them to six months in prison for illegally selling denechared spirits at Boardbazar in Gazipur City.

The court also sized 1,000 liters of denechard spirit from the two stores.

Owner of Shonali Hardware was fined Tk 10,000 and owner of Firoz Hardware was sentenced to six months imprisonment and fined Tk 10,000.
