Shamsul Haq passes away

Shamsul Haq, a water expert and a former secretary, died at his Gulshan residence in the capital on Tuesday. He was 94, said a press release yesterday.

He left behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and grandchildren.

He was a member of the Public Service Commission and served the Bangladesh Water Development Board until retirement as a board member.

A doa mahfil has been arranged at Gulshan-1 Bhola mosque after the Asr prayers today.
