Obituary

Journalist AZM Mahmudul Hasan, former secretary of Mymensingh Press Club, died of cardiac arrest at his daughter's house in the capital yesterday. He was 74.

He left behind two more daughters. He had worked as the district correspondent of Eastern News Agency (ENA) and The Daily Ittefaq.

He was a philosophy teacher at Mymensingh town's Nasirabad College. He will be buried at his family graveyard in the town's Golgonda today.
