Obituary

Kunud Baroi, a freedom fighter and father of channel-9 cameraperson Biplob Karmaker, died at his residence in Barisal city early yesterday. He was 72.

He left behind his wife, a son and two daughters.

He was cremated with state honour. Muktijoddha Sangsad, local journalist organisations and lawmakers mourned his death.
