NUS celebrates 25th anniversary

Nari Unnayan Shakti (NUS), a community-based non-government organisation, celebrated its 25th founding anniversary yesterday.

To mark the day, the NUS organised a number of programmes, including meeting, cultural function and reunion with its members and staff, at the organisation's office in the capital's Banasree area, said a press release.

NUS Chairperson Sajeda Begum, and its Executive Director Dr Afroja Parvin spoke at the event.
