None arrested over Saturday's double murder in Ctg

No arrest was made till yesterday in connection with the murders of a man and his son in Satkania upazila of Chittagong two days ago.

On Saturday, Mohammad Idris, 63, and his son Mohammad Khaled, 22, were shot dead and two of their family were injured allegedly by their neighbours following a dispute over a pond in Khagaria Pashchim Para. Family sources said they could not file any case as they were busy with the treatment of Idris' wife Mamtaj Begum and another son Mohammad Jahed at Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Police said drives were being conducted to arrest the responsible persons who were on the run.
