Nishat, team hand over national flag

As a gesture of completion of their expedition, mountaineer Nishat Majumder and her team handed over the national flag, which was hoisted on Mount Elbrus of Russia to Prof Abdullah Abu Sayeed yesterday.

The five-member team comprising Nishat, Irin Parveen, Md Ariful Islam, Junaid Sarker and Mirza Jakaria arranged a press briefing as part of a celebration of conquering the mountain at the capital's Bishwa Sahitya Kendra.

Everest conqueror MA Mohit was also present.
