NHRC concerned over attack on Rabindra Ghosh's house

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Chairman Kazi Reazul Hoque yesterday expressed concern over the attack on Rabindra Ghosh's house, said a press release.

“The incident is very alarming. Some fanatics are trying to destroy communalism and tarnish the image of our country by attacking people of other religions,” the statement signed by Rezaul said.

He urged authorities concerned to immediately identify and punish the perpetrators.

On March 25, a group of miscreants attacked the house of Rabindra Ghosh, also president of Bangladesh Minority Watch, and looted valuables.

A case was filed with Kamrangirchar Police Station in connection with this incident.
