Youngsters must be protected from drug abuse: Shahriar Alam

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam has called for a social movement against drugs to protect the youth.

He was speaking at a rally organised on the occasion of inaugurating various development works in Charghat upazila of Rajshahi on Saturday.

Drug abuse should not only be controlled, but also eliminated from the society. All concerned should work concertedly for this with a zero tolerance policy, he said.

Upazila Chairman Fakhrul Islam and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nazmul Haque were also present at the event.
