WUB permanent campus inaugurated

Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury inaugurated the permanent campus of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) at sector-17/H, Uttara, Dhaka yesterday.

Deputy Minister of Education Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury; Senior Secretary to Secondary & Higher Education Division Md Sohorab Hossain; Chairman of Bangladesh Accreditation Council Prof Dr Mesbahuddin Ahmed; President of Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh Sheikh Kabir Hossain; former Vice Chancellor of BSMMU Prof Dr Pran Gopal Datta; Chairman of Gazipur Zilla Parishad Aktaruzzaman and Pro Vice-Chancellor of WUB Prof Dr M Nurul Islam were present as special guests.

Treasurer of WUB Morsheda Choudhury delivered the welcome speech. Founder and Vice Chancellor of WUB Prof Dr Abdul Mannan Choudhury presided over the inaugural ceremony while Chairman (acting) of WUB Board of Trustees Prof Musfiq Mannan Choudhury delivered the vote of thanks.
