Woman killed under train

An unidentified woman was killed under a train in Sitakunda upazila in Chattogram yesterday.

Locals spotted her body on the tracks and informed police, said Sub-Inspector (SI) Year Ali, in-charge of Sitakunda Government Railway Police Outpost.

She was crushed under the Sylhet-bound Paharika train, said the SI, adding that her identity could not be ascertained immediately.

The body was sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) and an unnatural death case was filed in this regard.
