Woman found dead inside house

Police recovered the hanging body of a woman from her house in Gumanandon area under Hathazari upazila in Chattogram on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Sultana Pervin Moni, 24, wife of Md Khurshed of Talukder Bari, a Saudi expatriate, said Sub-Inspector Habibur Rahman of Hathazari Police Station.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body from her bedroom at 9:30pm.

The body was handed over her family after autopsy in CMCH and an unnatural death case was filed in this connection, the SI added.

No further details were known immediately.
