War heroine Moni Kisku dies

War heroine Moni Kisku passed away early yesterday at her residence in Ranisankail upazila, due to old age complications. She was 70.

She left behind two daughters to mourn her death. 

Moni was buried yesterday with state honour at the village cemetery. 

Local government officials, socio-political leaders including Yasin Ali, lawmaker of Thakurgaon-3 constituency, placed floral wreaths on her coffin and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
