Valuables of 10 shops gutted in fire

Fire gutted valuables of 10 shops, worth Tk 15 lakh, at Dohazari Bazar of Chandanaish upazila in Chittagong yesterday.

Originating from an oven of an eatery, the fire spread to adjacent shops around 12:10pm, said Jasim Uddin, deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defence, Chittagong. Three firefighting units doused the blaze around 1:20pm.

No casualty was reported.
