USAID launches project to improve maternal care

A five-year initiative of USAID's MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project was launched yesterday to provide quality maternal healthcare and family planning services, says a press release.

The event was jointly organised by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and MaMoni Health System Strengthening (MaMoni HSS) project at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Dhaka.

A discussion was also held to highlight the results and lessons from the previous MaMoni HSS project.

State Minister for Health Zahid Maleque was present as chief guest.
