United Hospital observes World Heart Day

United Hospital yesterday observed World Heart Day by conducting free health check-ups at its lobby, said a press release.

More than 500 patients and their family members availed the service throughout the day.

United Hospital CEO Md Faizur Rahman, Chief Cardiac Surgeon Dr Jahangir Kabir, Chief Cardiologist Dr NAM Momenuzzaman, Chief of Communication and Business Development Dr Shagufa Anwar, Cardiology Consultant Dr Reyan Anis and Dr Fatema Begum, among others, inaugurated the health check booth in presence of doctors, nurses and officials.

Faizur Rahman said, “The heart powers the whole body. That is why it is so important for everyone to take care of it. If we do not, we are putting ourselves at risk of cardiovascular diseases.”
