ULAB celebrates 15th Foundation Day

University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) celebrated its 15th Foundation Day yesterday in the auditorium of its Dhanmondi campus.

Planning Minister MA Mannan, attended the programme as chief guest, while Sheikh Kabir Hossain, chairman of Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh, was present as special guest. 

Dr Kazi Anis Ahmed, vice president of ULAB board of trustees, delivered the welcome speech. Founder and president of board of trustees Kazi Shahid Ahmed and National Professor Dr Rafiqul Islam also spoke at the programme. ULAB Vice Chancellor Prof HM Jahirul Haque delivered the closing remarks.

ULAB’s pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Shamsad Mortuza; special adviser to board of trustees Professor Imran Rahman; Treasurer Professor Milan Kumar Bhattacharjee; Registrar Professor Akhtar Ahmed; members of board of trustees; deans; heads of departments; faculty members; admin members; students and alumni attended the celebration.
