Two workers sustain burn injuries

Two workers sustained burn injuries after a gas pipeline exploded inside a house at Chandgaon area in Chattogram yesterday.

The injured are Md Ayman, 18, and Md Sazzad, 24, said Assistant Sub-Inspector Alauddin Talukdar of Chattogram Medical College Hospital Police Outpost.

“The duo were working to fix the gas-line at the residence of one Azgar Chowdhury when the blast took place, injuring them critically,” the ASI said, adding, they were immediately rushed to CMCH burn unit.

Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters said they are not aware about the incident.
