Two unidentified bodies recovered

Police recovered the bodies of two unidentified youths which were found floating in the Shitalakkhya river at Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj yesterday.

The bodies -- which are of two youths in early twenties and thirties -- were sent to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Locals informed police that the younger person's body was found floating in the river in Bhawalia Para area. Police recovered the body at 2pm, said SI Sabur Khan of Rupganj Police Station.

SI Hara Bilas Mondal of Rupganj Police Station said the body of the other person was recovered from the river at Morapara Bazar.

The cause of death is unknown and a case will be filed in this connection.
