Two held for murder in Savar

Police yesterday detained two people for killing a hijra in Savar's Redio Colony area.

The detainees are Ali Hyder (24) and Maisha (25), a hijra.

Police recovered the body from the victim's house around 1am, Inspector of Savar Police Station Zakaria Hossain said. "We are suspecting the victim was strangled to death," he said.
