Two bodies recovered from Khilgaon, Bosila

Police recovered bodies of two unidentified persons in Dhaka's Khilgaon and Bosila areas yesterday morning.

Their identity could not be known as of 6pm yesterday.

Khilgaon police recovered throat-slit body of a 25-year-old man from behind a house in Nandipara area around 10:30am. He was wearing black pants, said Khilgaon Police Station Officer-in-Charge Farukul Alam.

Police suspected assailants killed him elsewhere and dumped the body there. The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

In Bosila, body of a 45-year-old man was recovered from a ground-floor room of a flat around 11:30am. His legs were tied up with the bed and a pillow was on his face, said Sajidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Hazaribagh Police Station.

The room was locked from outside and locals informed police after they saw the body through the window. The OC said there was a cut mark in his neck.

He said the man along with a woman rented the flat a month ago as a couple. A college going youth was also with them.

The woman and the youth remained missing after the murder, police said.
