Two bodies found in Ctg

Police recovered two bodies from separate parts of the port city yesterday.

The body of Md Faruk, 27, was found near his home in Patenga, said Utpal Barua, officer-in-charge of Patenga Police Station.

Several months ago he was arrested and jailed on theft charge. He was released on bail last month, the OC said.

Faruk went out of the house on Sunday evening and went missing, family sources said.

The next morning, family members spotted his body at Control Moor area and informed police.

The body bore injury marks, the OC said.
