Three arrested with cannabis edibles

Police yesterday seized a consignment of cannabis brownies and arrested three youths for selling, preparing, and consuming those from the capital's  Mohammadpur.

A team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch seized 40 marijuana brownies weighing 1.5kg and arrested Kafil Wara Rafid, Risalat Hossain, and delivery worker Saif.

DB officials said they found out about it while investigating the ongoing LSD case. The arrested youths are involved in selling the edibles through social media, said Mishu Biswas, Additional Deputy  Commissioner (ADC) of DB, who led the arrest operation.

Recently, while investigating the death of DU student Hafizur Rahman, DB police found a LSD-trade circle, who sold LSD through a closed group on Facebook.
