Those involved in anarchy to face stern action

Law Minister Anisul Huq yesterday warned that the government will take stern action against those who will try to create anarchy, chaos and damage the lives and properties of the people in the country.

"The people have voted the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to discharge the responsibilities for serving them. If anybody makes any attempt to hamper that, the government must take action in accordance with the law," he said.

He said this while replying to queries from reporters after receiving the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine at Armed Forces Medical College Hospital in the capital.

Mentioning that the government has capability to provide vaccines to all, the law minister urged all to get vaccinated, saying that the rapid surge of Covid-19 cases will be reduced if people receive vaccines.
