Teacher, locals hand over man to police

A school teacher, with help of locals yesterday handed over a man to police for molesting a second grader  in Chittagong city's EPZ area.

Police identified the alleged sex offender as Kamal Molla, 38.

EPZ Police Station OC Mir Nurul Huda told The Daily Star the incident came to light after the young girl told a teacher in her school that Kamal had molested her on September 6.

The teacher later informed locals of the matter and handed Kamal over to police, the OC said.
