10-year-old’s drawing on prime minister’s greeting card

A drawing by 10-year-old Molina Khatun Bristi was featured on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Bangla new year greeting card for this year, titled “Shubho Noboborsho-1426”.

Bristi, a girl with multiple disabilities who comes from an impoverished family, also received Tk 1 lakh azs prize money for her drawing from the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund, according to a press release by SEID (Society for Education and Inclusion of the Disabled).

Bristi enrolled at SEID in 2016, and has made steady progress in learning both Bangla and English alphabets.
