Shomi Kaiser's phones stolen from press club

Two smartphones of actress Shomi Kaiser were stolen from a programme at Jatiya Press Club today.

After giving a speech at an inaugural ceremony of a website, Shomi Kaiser, president e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB), noticed that her phones were lost, reports a correspondent.

Right after that incident, the security guards locked the gate and searched all the journalists and guests present there.

Around 50 journalists and more than one hundred guests were stuck there for more than half an hour following the incident.

Later, it was revealed from the footage recorded by journalists that the phones were stolen by a worker while who brought a cake for the ceremony.
