Shohoz distributing 7,000 helmets among riders in Dhaka

Shohoz, a ride sharing service provider, started distributing 7,000 helmets among its riders in Dhaka yesterday, said a press release.

The distribution is being implemented every day from 11am to 7pm in key areas including Tejgaon, Dhanmondi, Mohammadpur, Motijheel, Uttara and Mirpur.

The distribution was inaugurated by a Shohoz team comprising Shezami Khalil, marketing director; Md Nowshad Farhan, lead, rider acquisition and retention; and Saqib Ahmad Raif, assistant manager (marketing).

Maliha Quadir, founder and managing director, Shohoz, said, “Deaths from road accidents have been on the rise and we are working towards the solution. We are expecting that this campaign will raise awareness about road safety.”
