Rucsu Election: Committee formed to discuss with student orgs

The Rajshahi University authorities yesterday formed a four-member committee to discuss Rucsu election with student organisations.

Vice Chancellor Prof M Abdus Sobhan formed the committee headed by RU Proctor Prof Lutfor Rahman.

The committee members are Prof Laila Arjuman Banu, student advisor; Prof Mir Ibne Wahed, treasurer of Rajshahi University Central Students Union (Rucsu); and Abu Sayed M Nazmul Haider, assistant proctor.

Lutfor Rahman said they will sit with the university officials in two days. “Then, we will discuss with different student organisations.”

The last Rucsu election was held 30 years ago in 1989. If held this year, it will be Rucsu's 15th election.
