Road accidents kill 2, injure 20

Two people were killed and 20 others injured in road accidents in two districts yesterday, according to reports from our correspondents.

In Chattogram, two persons died after a microbus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on in the city's Panchlaish area.

Fardin, 18, and Hanif, 40, succumbed to their injuries at Chittagong Medical College Hospital, said police.

In Dinajpur, 20 passengers of a bus were injured in a collision between the vehicle and a truck in Nawabganj upazila.

The injured were admitted to Birampur and Nawabganj upazila health complexes.
