RMG worker dies after falling from building

A RMG factory worker died after falling from the third floor of the factory building in Dhamrai on Friday. 

The deceased was identified as Abdul Hai , 50, a worker of the factory in Sreerampur area under Dhamrai, said Farhad Hossen , sub-inspector of Dhamrai Police Station.

Around 5pm, Hai was trying to come down from the third floor of the factory, using a rolling cloth, said the SI quoting witnesses.

After a while, he fell and sustained serious injuries, the SI said. Hai was taken to a hospital where doctor pronounced him dead.

The body was handed over to his family and a case was filed, the SI added.
