Qulkhwani of Wazed Ali Khan today

Qulkhwani of freedom fighter Wazed Ali Khan will be held after Zohr prayers today at his village home in Tangail's Dhanbari upazila.

Relatives, friends and well-wishers are requested to attend the event and pray for the departed soul.

Wazed, also the vice-president of Dhanbari upazila unit of Awami League, died of cardiac arrest at Bhatkura village on Friday. He was 72.

He left behind his wife, three sons, a daughter and a host of friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
